This Agreement is made between Sunset Cart Rentals (“Owner”) and the undersigned renter (“Renter”) for the rental of a street-legal golf cart (“Vehicle”).

  4. Rentals not returned on time will incur additional fees at $___ per hour/day.

2. Rental Fee & Deposit

  • Rental Fee: $_____
  • Security Deposit: $_____ (refundable upon safe return)
  • Payment must be made in full at the start of the rental.
  • Refunds of deposit are subject to inspection of the vehicle for damage, excessive dirt, or missing parts.

3. Vehicle Condition

  • Renter acknowledges receiving the Vehicle in good working condition.
  • Any existing damage must be documented before the rental begins.
  • Renter agrees to return the Vehicle in the same condition, excluding normal wear and tear.

4. Use of Vehicle

  • Vehicle is street-legal and may only be operated on public roads where allowed by local laws.
  • Renter must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Vehicle must be operated responsibly and safely at all times.
  • No passengers may exceed the vehicle’s seating capacity.

5. Prohibited Uses

Renter shall not:

  • Operate under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Use the Vehicle for any illegal activity.
  • Tow, push, or carry loads exceeding manufacturer recommendations.
  • Off-road the Vehicle in areas not permitted by law.

6. Insurance & Liability

  • Renter is responsible for all damages, accidents, or traffic violations incurred during the rental period.
  • Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Sunset Cart Rentals from any claims, damages, or costs arising from Vehicle use.
  • Optional insurance may be offered at $_____ per rental.

7. Maintenance & Repairs

  • Owner is responsible for routine maintenance.
  • Renter must immediately report mechanical problems.
  • Repairs due to misuse or negligence by the Renter are the Renter’s responsibility.

8. Termination

  • Owner may terminate this Agreement at any time if Renter breaches any terms.
  • Upon termination, Renter must immediately return the Vehicle.

9. Governing Law

  • This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

10. Acknowledgment

By signing below, Renter acknowledges they have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this Golf Cart Rental Agreement.
